Description

This is a description.

People come to therapy and say they can’t communicate. They want you to help communicate. Communication can reveal trauma, resentment, and anxiety. One or both partners may be resistant to internal self development. The workshop will use video and clinical transcripts to show how to resolve predictable communication breakdowns.

The educational objectives are listed.

  1. Describe a continuum in the development of empathy during couples therapy.
  2. Demonstrate a communication process that illuminates developmental impasses.
  3. List three predictive communication breakdowns and how to resolve them.

Session may be edited to preserve confidentiality.
